P.S.

I should have said Where there is one aligator-I hope there is NOT two.

McCafe' ?

Are they trying to change McDonold's name? I hope they do not change the biscuits. We had the most tasty one yesterday. All soft and fluffy in the middle and crusty on the outside and hot!!!! We do not eat them much but when we do we enjoy!! Coffee is the best in any town. We bought Truman a new recliner--the old one really fell apart. We will have to prop it up and use it for 4-6 weeks because they had to order the color we wanted. Havery's was very nice to us. Lunch with Cary on Thursday and Jan, Amy, and Ivy--it was Sophie's birthday. She is legal now--21-WOW. Can not believe it. Oh yes the aligator was caught last week from our lake. I hope where their is one-there is two.

SILVER SNEEKERS DAY

Exercise was good. It really makes me feel better. I took Irene for a Dr's appointment. She is fine. Then to grocery store with her Came home tired and went to sleep at four o"clock. Bad idea. Cooked supper. Watched DANCING WITH THE STARS-final show. It has been a really good season. Laugh if you want to but I like the show. Think I will catch up on iorning and listen to music while I iorn. Try it--it works.

LOT GOING ON

We had a full weekend. Linda was here. She felt sort of funny without kids, no dog, and no husband with her. But we really enjoyed her being here. We tried to feed her like she was hungry. I guess that is what we do best ---eat. We even went to CCC for lunch Sunday after church. Ivy, Amy and Linda all went to Broadmeadow with us. So busy and now we must come down a bit. Cold this morning and at last the sun. We turned the heat on and it feels good. My week is already filling up. Thank you Lord for work to do and the strength to do it.

CABIN IN THE WOODS

Since we sold the motor home, the last two years have been cabin camping. Motor home was luxry to us But the tenters and the popupers enjoyed the cabin. After all it is the people who make the day. Everyone helps. Good cooks who take turns and you need to taste those pancakes on Sunday by Chef Tommy. The weather was perfect. We sat outside a lot and took walks and talked a lot. That is what I call good family time. We honored the grads and also our Mothers. Had decorations complements of Jan, They were so cute. Enjoyed the remains of David"s graduation cake his Mother made. Sophie told about some of the special food we had on her blog. We are pretty much "if it ain"t broke don"t fix it kind of a family but some change is good. We love traditions too. Can't tell you how I feel in words but I think we have something special going for us. Keep it up!!!!!

I remember one Beach Week when de celebrated Cinci de Mayo. Mexcian Hat dance? Paper flowers we made. and Mexican food. and music. I liked that year. Memories again. I was in WalMart yesterday {not again) and they have almost a whole lane of Mexican food. A Mexican was shopping and he kept running up and down by me and he had taken a bath I do believe in goooood smelling stuff of some kind . He kept spreading it on me. Ug!!!! I think he was getting ready for a Cinco de Mayo party. If you want an experience--I recommend WalMart.

BUSY BUSY BUSY

I guess I should be glad to have lots to do and the energy to do it---but--it is a lot and time is flying by. We had a good time Saturday evening at Lowel Stevens Horse Farm in Clinton. It was for retires of DGNG. Beautiful place where he raises Tenn. walking horses and shows them. He is also a lawyer and retired from the bank. Sunday was full with Sunday school and church. Family night. our SS class was in charge. That means set up and clean up. We were tired but it was all good. This week will be full too. Exercise class and circle meeting on Tuesday. and Thursday. Getting ready to go to ClarkCo State Park with family. for Mothers Day. Other things will come up I am sure. But thank you Lord for so many blessings.

GREAT SALAD

You may have heard of this one. It came from a Senior Health magazine we get from our insurance co, Baby spinich, toasted pecans, red onion rings, strawberries. A dressing made with lemon juice, olive oil, pepper, just one tsp. honey 1 tsp Dijon mustard. I forgot to buy feta cheese but it was good anyway. Truman saw it first and said it sounded good. I surprized him at lunch with it. We both enjoyed it. We are both going to get slim I hope. Baked catfish for supper. Come join us
