OUR 63th

Yes 63 years ago today we said "I DO' And we have had 63 wonderful years filled with happiness, fun. sadness and the everyday stuff too. Wonderful children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, son-in=laws, and grandchildren have picked good mates. Have I left out anyone? It is hard to believe so much has happened. Much more to come and we thank God each day for the blessings that come our way.

Brrrrrrrrrr Cold

Not really, but it may frost tonight. Pansies like the cold and that always seems wrong to me. They look so delicate to me. We put out three flats of them Saturday along with ornamental cabbage. I wonder what they would taste like? I do not think I will try them. They are so pretty. Something dug a couple up last night and the night before. Even with the wire Truman covered them with, they got to them. Wonder what did it? Those pesky coons I guess. We replanted them and they look o. k.. We are getting ready for Thanksgiving and looking forward to having Linda and Joe-Cameron and Whitney and the worlds cutest great grandsons--Andrew and Liam. Amy is having us at their house for the big feast. Dogs going to Day Care for the day. At least Truffles is. I will shut the Cat here in my bedroom (Whitney is allergic to cats like Ashley.) I do not mind that and Penny will like it too. Hope for me that my dressing comes out good. Amy will bake turkey. Lot of fun coming. We will miss some of our family. Maybe Christmas will be even better.

BEWARE FRIDAY 13th

I was wondering why I spilled my orange juice all over the table . placemat, and the floor-made Penny cry when her shot went in wrong, and then I remembered it is Friday the 13th. Should I even get out of the house today? No I do not believe in that silly notion. Just for fun maybe. What do you all say about Friday the 13th?

THIS, THAT, AND THE OTHER.

Silver Sneakers today. Went good. I always feel good after exercise. Cat better. Guess I am getting good at giving shots. Real cool here and the leaves are turning. Our back yard is so pretty. My favorite time of the year. I took soup and flowers from my back yard (yes really) to my neighbor next door. I helped a lady pick out a dress to wear to a wedding yesterday. Had no idea who she was. I tried to give evryone a smile who did not have one at the Mall. I gave a lot of them. And got some in return. Try it. All these little things took my mind off things that were bothering me. It works!!!. And DANCING WITH THE STARS is still my favorite show --on no. the CMA AWARD SHOW LAST NIGHT WAS GOOD. I did not agree with all of the winners but I still like to look at it.

Boy what a hodgepodge of news. Sounds boreing to some but it is my life. I am looking forward to Thanksgiving. Andrew and Liam are coming. O boy. Can't wait.

HATTIESBURG & BEYOND

We had a funfilled weekend. Had trouble going to sleep last night, rerunning it in my mind. First we went to Hattiesburg to visit Sophie and Cary. Lunch was delightful(by Sophie) She is such a good planner and gave us a wonderful lunch. So very interesting!!! and good. To plan and deliver is quiet a task and everyone who has done this knows you have to have everything come together at the right time. And she did it. M. G. and Cary gave her some support and help. It felt strange for Amy to leave them all there because M. G. and Ivy stayed for the rest of the weekend. The house was so cute and decorated nice. We went to tour the Campus and it is so beautiful. So many nice buildings. Thanks to our Senators from Mississippi. Cary's apartment was just like her. Very simple but elegant!!. Nice furniture and good places to lounge. I know she is looking forward to being settled with David in their new apartment with a cat to make it fun. Church and afternoon with newspaper and football all made it a good weekend. Penny is better and I am better at giving her shots.

SNEEKERS AND CATS

I got to go back to SILVER SNEEKERS class yesterday for the first time in several weeks due to various illnesses. Felt good and I did not pick up the weights yet. But I did not forget the Mombo!!! That was good. Penny is still sick. We have not gotten her diabetes under control yet. I am still giving her inslin shots. She does not mind a bit. I believe she is a tiny bit better. Had lunch with Amy, Mary Grace and Steven yesterday for M.Gs birthday. I asked her how it felt to be 18. MaMaw!!I am 19!!! Time marches on. I have trouble keeping up.
