HOT DOG DAY!!!!!

Now talk about silly.  I can make a decent hot dog in my apartment with turkey dogs and whole wheat roll,  but I will take my whole wheat roll  down with me at the Cyber and let them fix the rest.  I usually get slaw or fruit and sometime chili.  Talk about a life.  Hey I hear they are teaching the Rumba this afternoon.  I would rather have a nap.

A FEW THINGS

Bad about breakfast in the Cyber.  Their eggs and bacon taste better than mine.  I go about 3 times a week.  Ate by myself this time.  Amy came and brought two beautiful arrangement of flowers from the Church altar flowers.  I took one to a new widow and she just paid me a visit to thank me.  So sweet.  Another to a friend who got good news from test.  Just to celebrate her good news.  Makes me feel good to be able to do something like that.  Had a nice walk and then coffee and pumpkin bread in the "bubble" sun room overlooking the lake.  I am so glad to be living on the water.  Almost like it used to be.  Almost but not really.  Hey, it is what is now and now is where I live.     So do you.

FULL DAY

Started out with discovering a leak under my bathroom sink.  Was not too bad so I ignored it not to miss exercise class.  Got back and called Maintenance.  They are really good but I was way down on the list being Monday.  They came about 1:00 and it was a minor repair so I got to go to Choir practice and then to Methodist Church service.  Now I am going to dinner with my usual ladies. Full day but I like it that way.  Nothing outstanding happened today. that I know of.  So off to dinner. Things have been known to happen at dinner,  We will see.

SUNDAY

Wow! talking about cold.  It led me to wear this sweater I have that is wool and I don't wear it very often.  It is very old now.  I wore it today and was still cold.  Went to church.  New Stage has a production now of Mahalia Jackson.  I don't know the correct name of it.  A young woman who's actual name is Mahalia Jackson is playing the part of Mahalia Jackson.  She sang at church this morning. She sang "Deep River" and "Elijah Rock"  What a voice-she was really good.  She is from Atlanta.  Amy. M. G. and me had lunch at Bon Ami's today.  So good. I drank two cups of coffee and came home and took a nap.  Do you think I will sleep tonight?  I actually would like a cup now but I better not.  I will go visit Irene, but first I will take a walk.  Come go with me.

SNOW---NO SHOW

Where is that snow?  Just a light dusting would be exciting.  I had a cheese omelet with bacon and cheese of course, at the Cyber.  It was perfect!  Darrell and wife Earlene are good breakfast buddies.  Cold this morning  31 degrees.  March 2==should see some spring days soon.  My phone just rang.  It was Jan saying she is coming for lunch.  And she was walking at the time and they are seeing snow flakes (a little).  A little is exciting.

HIGH MANTAINCE

I was "clipping" down the hall at a pretty fast clip.  A lady said you have been to exercise class and I admire you for taking care of yourself.  I thanked her but,

did not tell her how hard I work at it.  It takes a lot of work to keep it going.  But I want a quality of life that is as good as I can keep it.  But, please Lord not till I am 90.  I need to be on my way before then.
