No, not in his group by any imagination but I do have an imagination. You know I have been following the Canada Goose family. My they are a regal group. Yesterday was interesting. Mama swam by, escorting two smaller goslings. close behind in another line was Papa with the almost grown ones, (7) in tow. Perfect line. Now why did Mama have 2 very young ones with her? Were they from a lost family? Did she rescue them? Was the whole family taking them to another family? Whatever-- they were swimming with purpose. Maybe she was like me, just had to have another one, When I sent my second little girl off to first grade, I told their Dad, I wanted another. I felt I was not through with babies. This morning I saw the regal group again. The original Mom & Dad all in a perfect row with their 7 between them. You should see them, they are a sight to behold. So perfectly spaced and moving with precision. Ah, what a pretty sight to start the day. I wonder still where they were taking the two smaller ones yesterday. Wherever, I hope they are safe.

THANKFULgh with much percauti
As I sat on the Balcony just now. I heard a small plane, I guess from the Madison airport, buzzing around like he was glad to be there. I thought of the many things I am thankful for. Although I will miss it, kind of got spoiled, the meal delivery at my door since the lockdown. We are opening up to a walk through with much caution on Tuesday. We are gradually opening up. I am glad for the slow- to- normal, but at the same ,it also makes me feel unsafe. But we can't do this forever--or can we? I had an amazing adaptation of JIMMY DEAN breakfast sandwich for breakfast. It was my "light" meal from last night. English muffin (though not whole wheat) with egg, ham, cheese. Heated just right it was very good. I will miss those food people with their very creative meals they made us.
The air is cool and with a breeze, it is hard to tell what season it is. And is it really Saturday? Miss Jan. She will be back to my favorite time of week soon. This pandemic has taught me a lot. Time to think, time to really appreciate the many small and big things too that I used to think nothing of. SO BE IT.

MIST ON LAKE
Habit is my middle name. I have oatmeal every other morning. Don't ask me why-something Truman and I did, to not eat too many eggs I guess. I like it with some kind of fruit. Applesauce (homemade) banana or even peanut butter stirred in. So the tradition goes on. Lately I have eaten my oatmeal and juice (and many pills) at my little quaint dinning table and then take the coffee, bacon, and one half piece whole wheat toast to the balcony. It is different and beautiful early in the morning. This morning I saw a mist roll over a part of the end of lake. It was so beautiful and took me back to Riverwood Lake where we lived many years. I used to love sun on the Lake when it gave me many diamonds to sparkle. Made me feel rich. I saw a Canada goose just now, all alone. I, of course made a story about it. I think it was Papa Goose, getting some distance from Her. You see, she is getting kind of grumpy sitting on the nest and he needed a little recreation . Why could he not just trade places and sit for a while? And then I thought, maybe that is what is what was happening. I could not tell if it was mama or papa swimming so calmly. End of story. Sometime you need to make up your on ending. I do that a lot.

SEVERAL THINGS
Lovely color for today. First Happy Birthday to my third Grand daughter. You are a delight and I love you. The sun is shinning. Thank you Lord. The world is big, but yet it seems small now. I feel in touch with many. I met a neighbor yesterday who just loves to fish. He has set out to clear the Lake of it's BIG bass. His picture is on his door of his latest conquest. It is BIG. He seems happy using his time to fish all he wants. Another cat missing. Lives in a Garden house. Near woods--oh my!!. Year of Cats I guess. I added a secret ingredient to my scrambled eggs. I will do that a gain. I am having chicken enchiladas for lunch. One of my favorite thing to eat. My, My this is a jumble of subjects. Proves my mind is working--overtime.

UPDATE
Getting to be a routine. I like routine. Gives me purpose and don't have to think about what is next. I mean oatmeal, fruit in it,(apple sauce) juice, coffee, bacon & toast. Half at the table and half on Balcony. works for me. Anyway, that started my day. I looked at my pitiful little garden and it is not doing well. Except J. J. (short for Jade Jr.) He is an offspring of Amy's " Little Man" Jade plant. Oh Little Man would be proud of his little son. Almost doubled in size and looking happy. My how silly can I be? Blame it on isolation and not much to do.
The clouds have rolled away but not before putting on a beautiful display. I do love to look at them. I see much in them. A couple of days( he came back) I saw a giant croc in them. He looked like something you would write about in a children's book. It had large wings and a flying tail. Large mouth full of angry teeth. Kind of a monster that kids would love. I saw it two days in a row. Whooo I had better not tell anymore about that. You would surely think I had "flipped my lid." Another old saying.

MEMORIAL DAY
Kind of a different and lonely day. Wished I could have visited Truman and put new roses out for him. I know flags were put up at every site. I flew flags here and so did others, in memory of loved ones. I did have a great lunch. Best barbeque ribs ever. All the trimmings were good too. I walked, napped, read and looked at TV (as little as possible.) I have decided not to take up as much time listening to our virus situation on TV. Everybody has a view and nobody knows what will happen. I think that is the thing that is so frustrating about it all. People are getting tired of struggling to understand and to stay apart too. It is not natural to be that way. Wish I could turn my thoughts to something funny and interesting to write. But just can't.

MEMORIAL DAY
I watched the Memorial Day celebration from the Capitol in Washington last night. Had, like most programs, to be different but it was good. Everyone should watch and be reminded of the many who served our country over the years to make what our country is all about. I am thankful.
I had oatmeal with bananas inside, but took my bacon and toast, and coffee to the Balcony. Cool breeze and sunshine. Felt like a blessing to be able to sit and think and be thankful for my many blessings. Hey, one is we will have barbeque and all the traditional trimmings for lunch. Maybe I will sit on Balcony and enjoy it. I have table & chairs there and a beautiful view of my Lake. Then it may be too warm by noon and I will still have a" view from inside with Bitsy sniffing my food. I am always tempted to let her sample-but I don't. One of us must be strong.
