''PURDY' GOOD DAY

What could be better than going to the movies with two daughters?  Having Carol , long time friend from Jan's college days to meet us there.  We finally got to see La La Land and we all came away saying it was a great movie but we did not expect  or like the ending. I love stories that end well, but this was so sad.  I still recommend it if you haven't seen it yet.  I used to love movies growing up.  I went to a lot of them.  Of course we did not have TV till after I married.  Hard to imagine that I know.  Nor any of these electronics that we enjoy and depend on.  I can't even imagine how we got along without  microwaves. Things do change fast.
