WINDING UP WEEKEND

Ended up nice.  Weather is perfect today.  Need more days like today.  The balcony is so inviting.  Makes me want to plant but I will wait till after Easter, and  make sure the days and nights are warm enough to plant.  We started out to have lunch at China Belle, which we all love but it was closed and cleaned out.  Don't know when this happened.  Ended up at a favorite Mr .Chen's.   We enjoyed hearing of Sophia and Paul's latest trip to L. A. and Portland.  They enjoyed it and we did too.  Also hearing about M. G. and Ryan's new project.  A wall and stone walk around their new addition to the house.  Got new sod on the lawn too.  Boy they are real workers.  I do wish Truman could have known his new grandsons.  He would have been so impressed and happy with them.  By the way this Wednesday is the 6th  year of his death. March 29, 2011.  Hard to believe I am here so long without him.  So be it.  It is still hard at times and then others. I am just thankful to be here and with the love and support of such a wonderful family.  How Truman loved "family."  He sure got what he worked for--for us to stay together.
