One of my favorite children's books is BLUEBERRIES FOR SAL. Sweet little girl who lives on the coast of Maine. What a place to live. Digging for clams and watching the wonderful thing that live on the sandy beach. I "forced" it on all generations that I read to. I think they liked the part where she picked blueberries and met a baby bear picking blueberries, Do you think it is cold on the sandy beach of Maine this morning? I always liked to read to my girls. They all love to read for pleasure now. I do too.
I had blueberries on my waffle this morning. Jan's sister-in-law sent me sugar-free blueberry syrup. My it is good. With fresh from freezer blueberries on top. All set for now.
