MERRY MONTH of MAY
by Dot Ellis
I came skipping down my way.
Not a worry in the world.
Just an ordinary day.
Then a sight before me unfurled.
Under a huge toad-stool stood a little man.
All dressed in blue and yellow.
He stopped me with his outstretched hand.
He seemed like a friendly fellow.
He said,"May I have this dance?"
Lively music began to play.
He took my hand and did we prance.
Then he stopped and I skipped on my way.
Is this silly enough?
