I have neglected my deadline for submit to Villager. I wrote this in 5 minutes and sent it off. Hope it makes the cut Anyway, maybe you will enjoy it.
JUST PLAIN LAZY
As I was walking down the street,
My uneasy conscious I did meet.
It said,"You are really running late.
Your VILLAGER submit can not wait."
Believe me, I have really tried.
My creativity is on the slide.
Think I will just slump under a tree.
The DOG DAYS of SUMMER" have gotten to me.
