UPDATE ON DOG DAYS

Mr . Google says:  The Dog Days of Summer are defined as the period from July 3-
August 11. (Old Farmers Almanac).  The Dog Star, Sirius rises in conjunction with the Sun.  The star Sirius gets it's name from being the brightest star in the Constellation Canis Major which is Latin for Greatest Dog.  There is much more, but you get the idea?
