Is it real?? Yes, yes, and exciting as ever. The grounds around the Lake are beautiful. I remember , I think, it was the first winter I was here, it snowed. There is something about the quiet of snow that is like no other. But it is not much this time . But enough to stop everything. Almost. We had a ZOOM meeting for Linda's birthday yesterday. Got to see Whitney for the first time since Covid. She looks so good!! Linda made and decorated cup cakes and bought great sounding ice cream She pretended to serve us.. Although we could only look and admire them, it was a fun thing to do. Amy brought CoCo to the party. Stayed a little while. She wants him to be a lap dog, but he is too busy. The other dog, Sandy, is in training, learning to pick up sticks with Ed as his teacher. Firewood is his job. Earning his keep. Well, I will go and listen to the news. With Trump, Covid. and now the weather, plenty to talk about. Better to just turn it off and enjoy the silence?
