SOUTHERN KOMFORT BAND

The band has been a part of our start of Lent service for years. Even when Truman was with us. We both liked it a lot. Sunday they were a great part of our Sunday service. Had a pretty nice crowd. I got to sing "I'LL FLY AWAY." I can really get with that one. Anyway, they played, and we sang and waved the white flags as they marched up the isle and out to the front after the service, TO THE TUNE OF-- OH, WHEN THE SAINTS GO MARCHING IN, they played a few more on the front steps with everyone clapping. My, my, what a different kind of worship, but good. The students from Milsaps seemed to really enjoy it. Maybe we should do more like that? Sing with Joy.
