We have a bench in the main hall where you can put reading material for to borrow or keep. I found something I like. THE BEST OF OGDEN NASH, compiled by his daughter. Big thick book of many of his hilarious poems. I will not bore you with much, but here are a couple.:
SONG OF THE OPEN ROAD
I think that I shall never see
A billboard lovely as a tree.
Indeed, unless the billboards fall
I'll never see a tree at all.
THE FLY
God in his wisdom made the fly
And then forgot to tell us why.
Of course, there is much more to his poems than those, but his use of words really fascinate me, I wish I could write better. But I will just read this book and really enjoy.
