Have you noticed how we in the South tend to butcher the English language? Meet someone in the Hall and they say Howyou? Meaning How are you? Make it a whole word? And we answer -- fine , howyou? My word speller is going crazy. Does not want to spell it wrong. I have heard the theory that the warm weather we live in makes us talk slow and wrong sometime. Maybe. But that is how it is.
