RARE SIGHT

Many who have humming bird feeders have said they have seen few hummers this season.  I have a large pot of a mixture of blooming plants. The Colous   (sp) has decided to take over.  Beautiful tall spikes are blooming..  I was sitting there very still and quiet when a hummer fluttered by me and straight to the plant.  It worked the many tiny flowers over.  And over. Trying to get  drinks of nectar. I do hope it got its fill.  I did enjoy being so close to watch.  Oh yes, you need to know the big three Canada geese were together still. Just waiting for the storms they predict.  I hope they are not as bad as expected.
