GLOOMY DAY

But that is just the weather.  Think I will stay inside this morning.  I was so happy to  hear of Ivy and Tripp's  renewed interest in Truman's book  ENGEBI. They are reading it out loud to each other.  How sweet.   He lives on through his grandchildren.  He loved them all.  I think he was a pretty good writer being his first book.  Of course he was driven to write it.  Sometime it is more easy to write than to talk about the war days.  So many books were written about WW2.  I might reread it myself.

My apartment is so dusty.  Maid's day is Friday, but I may not wait for her,  Get the old Pledge and rag out if I can get the energy up.  Takes a lot out of me--housework.  Spoiled and happy to be.
