NEW POEM

This funny little poem has been running around my brain and would not really  "jell."  Until the deadline came close. (TODAY.)  Here it is for what it's worth.  It was accepted by editor, so it is o. k. I hope.

WASH YOUR HANDS
by DOT ELLIS

Am I a child once more,
Learning rules of life?
Freedom out the door,
Enter strife!

Rules learned as a child,
Serve me once more.
Consequences will be mild,
 If you wear your mask,
Turn out the lights,
And close the door!!!!!

Wish it could be that simple.
