I wonder what Old Man Winter looks like? Old, creepy, cold, icy, windy, and bare foot of all things. Now that would keep him hopping and on his way. Calls for hot chocolate, spiced cider, fire burning in the fireplace continually, heavy socks, sweaters, and the ever-loving cup of hot home made soup of your choice. Mine yesterday was of course veggie. And it smelled good as it simmered and tasted good too along with cornbread, Southern style, (no sugar.) You know what I miss? Our own fireplace. Truman loved it too. We have a "fake" one in the lobby seating area. Pretty to look and, but no warmth. They try to make it like home and I appreciate the effort. And they do a good job. One thing that has always impressed about SCV is that all the employees are urged to learn and speak out names. And it is a nice thing--YOUR NAME. Yes it is.!!
